Lubella started playing violin at the age of 6. Trained classically with the Suzuki violin Method until the age of 12. She then went into Country ”fiddle” playing and trained with the famous fiddler Mark O’ Conner for two summers.
At about the same time, at the age of 16, Lubella started playing with the San Francisco Junior Symphony, and was among the youngest violinist to play as a first chair. She was also playing with the University of Pacific Youth Symphony where she was the youngest violinist as well.
Lubella at that time also had a Quartet where she would go play at weddings and special events.
Later in 1999...she auditioned for a newly formed All Female Mariachi called “Mariachi Mujer 2000” and went on to tour all over United States and Mexico.
Not to mention, Lubella also had the opportunity to be part of a few Local Latin Rock bands in Coachella Valley called ”Fronteras” and “Quinto Menguante”.
Nowadays, Lubella spends her time doing studio recordings and also playing Arabic music, mainly from middle eastern legend singer, Mohammed Abdu.
Lubella always wanted to be in front of the camara since she was at a young age. Borned and raised in a very traditional mexican family, in a very small wine country town of Lodi, California; it was very hard for her to accomplish that dream.
After her family moved down to Palm Springs, California; she went to Los Angeles and started working at a local hospital as a Registered Nurse and it was there where she was offered to work in the movie “Lil Fockers”. This is when she decided to pursue her lifelong dream to work in Hollywood.
Lubella Gauna is part of the Screen Actors Guild Union/American Flim and Television Radio (SAG/AFTRA).
She continues to work in varies of movies and tv show series as a background actress.
Lubella Gauna has her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing and also a Bachelor Degree in Nursing. She specializes in Cardiac/Telemetry. She also has training and experience with botox and laser treatments. Currently she is Licensed with the State of California Board of Nursing and occasionally works as a medical advisor in the entertainment world. Some of her nursing work has been seen in tv shows like “Code Black”,“General Hospital” and the new upcoming movie “Insidious 4”
